Taking Leaps away from the city: the journey (part 2)

December 10, 2014

An hour plane ride. 4 hours sitting in the car... it was a sore. but the experience was worth.

city is always a comforting place for everybody to live in. just a few blocks away you end up in store where you can grab anything you want. a little hump outside the house, there you go... you can be indulging with an ice cream or your favorite drink.
but these pictures speaks different from what we commonly see or live in the city... It makes you appreciate life and be gratified more.

as people who lives away from modern civilization, strive to work and exert so much effort to feed themselves and walk miles to study for a brighter future. now the christmas is just around the corner. these are things that I'd like to be thankful for. Especially for opening my eyes into the wonders and life of other people.
it is indeed a very nurturing experience for me.

Taking Leaps away from the city (part1)

November 03, 2014

Visiting new places around the world and the country, is always a nurturing experience for me. hopping from one beach to another and getting there, always tells a whole different story. It is indeed that your lens are your eyes to everything you want the whole world to see, and I'm so grateful to share my experience away from the city.

I'd like to share first my inspiration with this look, As I wanted to show the breeze of the air from the beach vibe, I gained some weight though over the past few month of being busy at work, add a little slack in choosing sleeping more than working out because of my schedule but I dont want to miss this one this time.
Indeed everyday is always a lesson for me, some friends started to become a critique of my work here at my blog, but hey this is my blog... every blogger knows that they can write and post whatever they want, whenever they want. I will admit that I kinda got affected, but It's a good thing I would say. some people will tell me like "your thoughts are blown out of proportion" and "my writings are too long" especially how some became a fcking grammar natzi or some kinda of expert in the english language. but there are still positive things that washes out the negative comments I receive from the people I know who aren't even a possible clients or even fits to be featured in my blog or any blog for that matter; Is the fact that how other people that I don't know from this cyberspace making an effort to write me an email, read my blog, admiring what I do, and offers to make a collaboration or do them a little help in promoting their site or product that benefits the both of us. Visiting the beach and getting there, got me right back on track to the things I love doing the most.

and here I am... continuing what I love doing and sharing to the whole world about it.

AN AMRY INTO YOUR LIFE

September 21, 2014

While flipping to the feeds and timeline of my instagram, I came across to this quote "life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it" and it is quoted from Charles R. Swindol. We all go through a rough and tough circumstance somewhat in our lives. Our unstable emotions take us out to our good judgement about how to handle things often than not, we end up taking the wrong actions or decision about where we are. Sometimes, there is a feeling of a need to act on an impulse on something, instead to let it linger; by not acting on anything until we remove ourselves within our emotions that hinders our better judgement about our/the situation.
At the end of our agony. We all have to risk in making decisions. To let go of the anxiety of whatever outcome our decisions will take. How your simple "NO" can bring someone else's "YES" or how others stepping a foot backward can make your two feet move forward. we can practice to live on what we have every moment and work on something for tomorrow. you'll never know that one day, you wake up living on something greater that you could have only imagined. stand up. be tough. learn how to equip yourself with the essential arsenals of what is needed in this world and life to survive. Accept life and embrace living. knowing when to fight or give up. keep questioning... until you find an answer.
I know the first two paragraphs were serious, but hey... this is my blog anyway haha. this is just a once in a blue moon scenario in my life. moving forward! I got inspired by accessorizing something extravagant from my casual look to balance street style to high street(if you know what it means).

accessorizing with metal pieces and earth color to give a little complexity with my look

Dress for success

August 31, 2014
The "Ber" months is the least favorite weather of mine than the heat of the summer. It is also the time wherein Jackets and Coats are everywhere. I'm one guilty to sport one too by the way. Jackets, suits and blazers are really my thing, it gives you this feeling of power, confidence, and authority. My teacher from training said "Dress not just to impress, but also for success." thought I was the only one taking it seriously in class but my Teacher "Red" too. I hate to say this that for now, I'm a corporate slave, but I know this won't be for too long. September has just arrived and It's time to reset or bring back what is hidden and buried along your closet. this is always the month where everyone change. this is the season where people embody something else.

this is the kind of look that I go to for at work. a simple button down oxford sleeves, khaki pants, and corporate jacket to complete the corporate street style look.

For style Savvy people like me, Fashion and style is a way of living. I remember what Andre leon talley said while sharing his experience how he wants his PJ's, towels and undergarments monogrammed at Charvet in Paris "extravagance is how I approach the Aesthetics of living". Since then, I had more reasons to apply the mystiques of the art in my way of living. maybe you should too.

LITTLE TOKYO MAKATI

August 18, 2014

It was out of no where when my friend sent me a facebook message, inviting me to dine at a japanese restaurant located in makati. "little tokyo" abruptly popped in my head and it was the only place I know that serves a good japanese cuisine in concrete jungle of makati. It's actually my 2nd time around in the place and fell in love with the japanese atmosphere the first time i went to visit. there is an unexpected japanese scene that I never knew existed here in the metro.

my first experience was at "Seryna" and took some picture using my camera phone which was last year 2013 around November before I flew to singapore for the christmas holiday.

the prices of food at Seryna is just reasonable and also to include the experience compared; to the commercialized and diversified japanese restaurants out there in the entire philippines and metro manila. definitely "Seryan" is one of the restaurants in little tokyo to pay a visit to have the japanese experience in the city of manila.

and so for the dinner and catching up with my friend last night, who begged not to post any disclaimed of her for her own grace haha. so this is what we had.

pardon my A.D.D because I forgot the name of the dishes we ordered but it's all sushi anyway. it's worth it!

Check out the lovely place and see for yourself. click on the link bellow to spot it on the map on your way there

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE

August 17, 2014
This time, I will continuously tell my self to proof read all my post and not let my impulsive spontaneity get in the way to ending up in a mess with everything that I'm writing. I've embarrassed myself already and will just laugh it out about lol. after this post I'd probably get out the safe zone and write down whatever conservative, informative and vulgar thoughts in my mind. To further express more whatever interests I have to share in the cyber world and the whole world of course. enough about me... moving on, I'd like to share the more intimate version of my friend's little birthday celebration compared to mine. not to mention the broken links that i'm pissed about from my previous post about my birthday.
the food was ok. not an over top steak house here in manila. the service wasn't that outstanding but the staff are really welcoming and very friendly.
here are some of the pictures of the food we had. and mind you I still managed to have pics without looking bloated from all the food we had after that night. even thou I obviously gained weight in that picture, I'm already working out to get back in shape.
since I recently landed a job and now enough with the unhealthy drink, eat, sleep and repeat lifestyle I have. and I confess of being sometimes lazy posting. that's why i don't post that much of my lifestyle here in manila. but beyond that. I'd like to be inspiring with my next post and entertaining too ;)
baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, caesar's salad, buffalo wings and another set of baby back ribs! imagine?

plus non stop set of bread and cheese while waiting for our meal.
